New York is a fascinating city, raucous, vibrant, teeming with life. For me, there’s inspiration on every corner: world-class buildings, a nonstop parade of fascinating people, amazing textures, and always eye-popping color. In this series, I combine classic views of the Big Apple with favorite images from my own library, such as birds, flowers, and patterns.

When layered and blended seamlessly together, the disparate elements incorporated into my New York pieces become a visual testament to my emotional reactions to each neighborhood.

Some of my fine-art pieces are created in collaboration with my friend, the photographer Barbara Aaron Frish @iphonecameragirl. She has provided me with incomparable photos from her walks throughout the city, and given me free rein to combine them with my own images for an entirely new outlook on familiar scenes. They are signed with our dual logo.
